This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

The tech took care of the problem caused by the main office in Atlanta not relaying crucial information to him (our dog throwing up after the borax based granular bait application even though we kept her away from the area). He even came up with a reason for the problem (grain based coating causing her problems due to a grain allergy she has.) He made sure we had his cell number so we could call him directly with problems. I am happy with the local Orkin office and would not hesitate to give them 5's. But the main office is frustrating to deal with and I can't give them 5's for that reason.

I would have recommended him for the service type that we had before but he apparently has left and decided to become and fire-fighter and the guy we currently have now claims 11 years of service, I don't find him as reliable, as communicative and they're not coming when they're suppose to be coming right now, in that, they're suppose to come late in the day so that we can let them in the house and treat the interior. It's now been a couple of months since he has come at a time when we could let him in and treat the interior, so not as happy with my service as I was used to. They've done a good job. They do come out reliably, they are responsive for a callback. So, if you really want them back, you can call them, they will come back at a time and work, so. The pricing is moderately expensive. I talk with the guy, he is a little bit talky. The first thing he did was remind me that they had 11 years of experience and then after that it was kind of like, well, you know, the other guy came out at 4:30 when we could let him in the house, when somebody might be home and he's called twice now, that's the night before, and said he's going to be out at 10 AM, nobody is going to be home to let him in the house, so the callbacks are going to be a problem. I really liked the other guy. And I have not had the chance to sit down with the new guy and there are a lots of crawlspaces in the house but I don't think some of them he even knows about.

The regular technician is very prompt and thorough. He has no problem answering my questions. Since having the regular service I have had almost no problem with ants and very little problem with spiders. The insulation in my attic was blown in and gives me an R90 (so I have told). I would recommend this comany to anyone else.

They have been wonderful. They always come when they say they will come and they always do what they say they will do. The guy that helps me is named Constantine. He is wonderful.

via angieslist

They are pretty good. They are not cheap or anything but overall, they are one of the best here. We had termites all over the house and they did quite a nice job. We don't have any more trouble with termites. They are the only ones we have used and I have never had any termite problems after they treat it. You get what you pay for.

Thanks to Terminix my carpenter ant problem that happens every year has gone away. I don’t have to worry about spiders either and they even helped me figure out how I can get rid of my bats. I appreciate the way I have been treated by the man who does the service and I no longer have to try to find or store chemicals that will do the job. I also like getting a text with the service provider’s phone and ETA.

Understanding Pest Control Pricing and Services in Woodburn, Oregon

Residents of Woodburn, Oregon looking to maintain their homes free of unwanted pests can expect to explore various pest control service options tailored to a broad range of needs. When it comes to establishing general pricing, homeowners should consider the size of their property, the degree of infestation, and the specific pests they are dealing with. Generally, initial service fees may range from $175 to $399, with recurring treatments anywhere between $40 to $100 per month, depending on the extensiveness of the plan. This initial outlay is often a critical step in establishing a long-term defense against pests, with subsequent visits ensuring that the property remains protected.

Pest Coverage and Exclusions

In Woodburn, a pest control plan typically includes protection against a wide spectrum of common pests such as ants, spiders, rodents, and cockroaches. However, it's important for homeowners to be aware that some pests may not be covered under standard plans. Specialty pests like termites, bed bugs, and wildlife often require distinct treatment strategies and may incur additional costs. When selecting a service, it's essential to verify which pests are included to avoid any surprises should an excluded pest become an issue.

Service Contracts

Securing a pest control service often involves entering into a contract. These agreements can span from annual commitments to longer-term plans. While some contracts offer the flexibility to cancel at any time, others may require a cancellation fee. It's crucial for homeowners to read the fine print and understand their obligations, ensuring they select a service agreement that aligns with their preferences and requirements for maintaining a pest-free home.

Satisfaction Guarantees

A key aspect of pest control services is the guarantee offered by providers. Many companies stand behind their work with a promise to revisit and retreat the property at no additional charge should pests persist. This assurance plays a vital role in providing homeowners with peace of mind, knowing that they are supported even after the initial treatment.

Treatment Expectations

When a pest control technician visits a Woodburn home, the treatment process typically involves a thorough inspection of the property, identification of pest activity, and application of treatments to targeted areas. Homeowners can expect professionals to address both the interior and exterior, focusing on prevention and immediate control of active infestations. Understanding what to anticipate during a visit can help prepare residents for the process and ensure clear communication with their pest control provider.

Bundling Services and Additional Options

To enhance pest protection and potentially save on costs, many Woodburn residents opt for bundled services that combine general pest control with additional treatments for termites, mosquitoes, or ticks. These service bundles often come with a cost advantage, offering comprehensive protection against a wider array of pests. Homeowners should inquire about these options to customize their pest management plan to their specific needs.

Addressing Specialty Pest Issues

While general pest control service plans cover many common pests, dealing with specialty pests like termites or rodents may require a focused approach. Homeowners facing such challenges should seek out targeted services that are specifically designed to manage these more persistent and potentially damaging pests. Specialized treatments may involve different techniques and products, reflecting the unique behaviors and vulnerabilities of these pests.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Homeowners in Woodburn must decide whether a one-time treatment or an ongoing service plan best suits their situation. While one-time services can address immediate concerns, recurring services provide ongoing monitoring and prevention, keeping pest populations under control and preventing future infestations. This choice often comes down to the homeowner's long-term goals and the level of pest activity they are experiencing.
