This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

Travis always provides excellent customer service. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He’s always on time. I appreciate and trust Travis

Susan M.via Google

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

Greta L.via Google

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

My service tech Bruce Stone is amazing. Always on time always calls before arriving as he knows i work and tend to forget (even tho i get text and email reminders i still forget) and let's me know exactly what is going on doing..and the price is good too..

Richard Chin was a great technician. He was on time, very professional & took time out to walk us through what he would be doing step by step. The last technician Orkin gave us had very poor customer service skills. I’m glad this experience was better than the last.

Artesha C. via google

Bruce is the Orkin representative that has repeatedly come to my house. He is always friendly and professional. He does an extremely thorough job when he is here. He is the best Orkin rep that I have ever had. I hope he sticks around for a while.

Kim F. via google

They are accommodating, respectful, personable, professional, customer friendly, understanding, responsive, communicative, thoughtful, and informative. I left out one MAJOR detail. John O'Connor was GREAT and did a very thorough job for us. We appreciate the care he took with our service.

Chey A. T. via google

The one thing we don’t love about Orkin is they will schedule you without confirming with you. Then if you have to reschedule too many times, they will revoke their services. I missed a call from them then I called back about an hour later, and they didn’t answer. Then I got a text saying I was scheduled for Tuesday 2-5pm. Luckily we were able to rush home from work in time, so we didn’t have to reschedule. The one thing we absolutely LOVE about Orkin is Kevin. He is absolutely phenomenal at his job, he is so thorough and really takes his time to take care of the issue. He knows so much about the bugs and has so many interesting facts he shares with us. Every time he comes to our home, we have great conversations with him while he is working. He is really just a wonderful person who deserves the world, and he’s such a hard worker! Please give that man a raise or some PTO or something!!! We’ve had other exterminators from Orkin come by but Kevin is by far the best!

Alan Bunting did a thorough job in treating my yard. I have gophers, moles and voles. He contacted his manager for a specific treatment plan for my yard. I appreciated his concern.

Dorothy L. via google

Critter Conteol has serviced my property for many years, controlling a rodent problem. They have done a good job but I have noticed a decline in the level of service lately. They used to let me know when they were coming but stopped. I mentioned it to them and I did get a notice last time. The last visit, though, the tech could only find 3 of the 6 stations they themselves put out. At one time they had a diagram but I guess no more. So they only did half the job this month

Robert K. via google

Critter Control is responsive and professional. Kudos to the support staff.

Craig J. via google

Had a bat in my house, called to make sure we did not have more

Pete K. via google

Zac went above and beyond in helping relocate a Mama raccoon and her babies from under our deck and then enclosed it so wildlife won’t be tempted to take up residence again. It took a bit to get scheduling coordinated but once they were onsite, they did an outstanding job!

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Seattle, Washington

For Seattle homeowners, keeping your dwelling free from unwelcome critters is a year-round endeavor. The price of pest control services is influenced by several factors, including your location within Seattle, the size of your home, the severity of the infestation, and the specific pest control measures employed. On average, residents can expect monthly service plans to range from $40 to $100, with an initial visit fee generally varying between $175 and $350. This cost accounts for a comprehensive approach to pest management, including assessment, implementation, and monitoring of pest activity to secure your home against intruders.

Understanding Service Contracts

When you sign up for pest control in Seattle, you may be entering a service contract, which typically lasts for a year. Some pest control companies offer the flexibility to cancel at any time without penalties, while others may require a commitment with a cancellation fee. Contracts are designed to provide continuous protection and often include scheduled visits, with professionals returning to your home to prevent pests from making a comeback.

What’s Included: Pest Coverage

Most general pest control plans in Seattle will cover a variety of common pests like ants, spiders, rodents, and cockroaches. However, be aware that not all pests are included. Specialty pests such as termites, bed bugs, and wildlife might require additional, targeted treatments. It’s important to clarify which pests are included in your chosen plan and which might incur extra costs.

Ensuring Satisfaction: Guarantees

To give homeowners peace of mind, many pest control services in Seattle come with a guarantee. If pests return or you are not satisfied with the service, the company may offer additional treatments at no extra charge or even refund your money. These guarantees emphasize the company's commitment to keeping your home pest-free.

Treatment Day: What to Expect

During a typical pest control visit, technicians will inspect your home for signs of pest activity, apply treatments to affected areas, and may also provide preventative measures. Treatments can vary depending on the season and the type of pests but generally include both interior and exterior applications to create a barrier against pests.

Money-Saving Offers: Bundling and Add-On Services

Many pest control providers in Seattle offer the option to bundle services for savings. You might combine general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments for a reduced overall price. Additionally, some companies offer add-on services, such as tick and flea treatments, which can be included in your plan for an extra layer of protection against specific pests.
