This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

We have used other Pest control serivices in the past and Orkin is head and shoulders above the rest. The Orkin tech Ricardo does a great job, he is friendly, professional and takes care of business.

Sal is great. Found the problem, and treated it efficiently. He is courteous, proffessional, and very experienced. A great experience to have him service my home every time.

Every time the orkin man visits. He's very thorough and the job he's done. I have him coming back on a regular schedule, of 2 to 3 months. All through the fall, and through the winter, I had no mice, no flies. But this time we found a spider in the house one day before he came LOL true fact! He took care of that spider LOL I would recommend this. I didn't think I could afford it, but getting mouse traps and having to deal with the nastiness and all of this sprays and all that to kill the crawling bugs and flies. I'll take care of and nothing to breathe in and it doesn't harm my animals. So worth it!

Chris with Orkin has been our tech for years. He is always on time, kind, friendly and communicative. We have received years of amazing service.

John, showed up on time and actually a bit early. (I also received 2 texts letting me know they were on there way and the second letting me know that they had arrived.) He presented a very professional appearance and immediately greeted me by name. He was cordial and engaging and listened to my pest control issue. He was attentive and interested in my situation as I gave him the $2 tour of our house. His recommendations were logical and measured. Even though he offered a couple of extra protective rodent measures. I never felt pressured to buy them. He explained exactly what he had observed and what he planned to do to fix our mouse issue. I followed some of his advise and removed debris from around the foundation of our house using my blower. He placed the traps, sprayed and cleaned up around the eves. And he gave some insights on how to prevent reinfestation. At the end he asked if I had any other concerns or anything else I'd like him to look at. I was very impressed with the service today. I would definitely recommend Orkin to anyone looking for pest control correction.

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Carson City, Nevada

Homeowners in Carson City, Nevada, seeking pest control services can expect to navigate a range of pricing options, contingent upon various factors. The general cost for pest management services often hinges on the size of the property, the degree of infestation, and the particular pests involved. On average, homeowners might anticipate monthly expenses ranging from $40 to $100 for routine pest prevention plans. There is frequently an initial service fee, which can vary from $175 to $350, but promotional discounts may reduce this initial investment. The intricacies of pest control require a thoughtful approach, and understanding the full scope of available services is the first step towards safeguarding your home.

Pest Coverage Details

For homeowners in Carson City, understanding what pests are included in a standard pest control plan is foundational. Commonly covered pests include ants, spiders, roaches, mice, and wasps, among others. However, it is equally important to note what is not typically covered. For instance, most standard plans do not address termites, bed bugs, or wildlife, which require specialized treatment plans. Knowing which pests are covered can help homeowners make informed decisions about the type of service they require.

Service Contracts Essentials

Signing up for pest control services often involves agreeing to a service contract. These contracts can span a year or more and may include penalties for early cancellation. However, some companies offer more flexible terms, allowing customers to cancel services without incurring additional fees. Examining the fine print of service contracts can save headaches down the line and ensure that the services align with the homeowner's needs.

Satisfaction Guarantees

Pest control companies typically stand behind their services with guarantees. These guarantees promise homeowners that if pests return within a certain period following treatment, the company will provide additional services at no extra cost. This commitment to customer satisfaction can provide peace of mind and is a critical factor to consider when choosing a pest control provider.

Expectations During Treatment

When a pest control technician visits a home, they will typically conduct a thorough inspection, identify problem areas, and treat both the interior and exterior. To fortify the home against future invasions, treatment might also involve sealing up entry points and setting up preventive measures like traps or bait stations. Homeowners should expect professionals to explain the treatment process and provide advice on maintaining a pest-free environment.

Bundling and Additional Services

Many pest control companies offer the opportunity to bundle services for savings. For example, combining general pest control with termite or mosquito services could lead to significant discounts. Additionally, homeowners can opt for add-on services, like tick and flea treatments, to enhance their protection. Thoroughly exploring bundling options and additional services can result in comprehensive coverage that meets all of a homeowner's pest control needs.

Addressing Specialty Pests

While general pest control plans cover a wide array of common pests, specialty pests such as termites, bed bugs, or specific types of wildlife necessitate targeted treatment plans. These infestations often require unique approaches and may involve additional costs. Homeowners should consult with pest control specialists to devise a strategy that effectively addresses these more challenging infestations.

Deciding Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Homeowners must decide between one-time treatments and ongoing service plans. One-time services are typically more focused and are considered 'preventative measure treatments,' while recurring services offer ongoing prevention and often come with continuous guarantees. Recurring services can be more cost-effective over time and provide long-term peace of mind, but the best choice will depend on the specific needs and circumstances of the homeowner.
