This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

Travis always provides excellent customer service. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He’s always on time. I appreciate and trust Travis

Susan M.via Google

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

Greta L.via Google

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

Richard Chin was a great technician. He was on time, very professional & took time out to walk us through what he would be doing step by step. The last technician Orkin gave us had very poor customer service skills. I’m glad this experience was better than the last.

Bruce is the Orkin representative that has repeatedly come to my house. He is always friendly and professional. He does an extremely thorough job when he is here. He is the best Orkin rep that I have ever had. I hope he sticks around for a while.

Kim F. via google

They are accommodating, respectful, personable, professional, customer friendly, understanding, responsive, communicative, thoughtful, and informative. I left out one MAJOR detail. John O'Connor was GREAT and did a very thorough job for us. We appreciate the care he took with our service.

Chey A. T. via google

The one thing we don’t love about Orkin is they will schedule you without confirming with you. Then if you have to reschedule too many times, they will revoke their services. I missed a call from them then I called back about an hour later, and they didn’t answer. Then I got a text saying I was scheduled for Tuesday 2-5pm. Luckily we were able to rush home from work in time, so we didn’t have to reschedule. The one thing we absolutely LOVE about Orkin is Kevin. He is absolutely phenomenal at his job, he is so thorough and really takes his time to take care of the issue. He knows so much about the bugs and has so many interesting facts he shares with us. Every time he comes to our home, we have great conversations with him while he is working. He is really just a wonderful person who deserves the world, and he’s such a hard worker! Please give that man a raise or some PTO or something!!! We’ve had other exterminators from Orkin come by but Kevin is by far the best!

Alan Bunting did a thorough job in treating my yard. I have gophers, moles and voles. He contacted his manager for a specific treatment plan for my yard. I appreciated his concern.

Dorothy L. via google

Critter Conteol has serviced my property for many years, controlling a rodent problem. They have done a good job but I have noticed a decline in the level of service lately. They used to let me know when they were coming but stopped. I mentioned it to them and I did get a notice last time. The last visit, though, the tech could only find 3 of the 6 stations they themselves put out. At one time they had a diagram but I guess no more. So they only did half the job this month

Robert K. via google

Critter Control is responsive and professional. Kudos to the support staff.

Craig J. via google

Had a bat in my house, called to make sure we did not have more

Pete K. via google

Zac went above and beyond in helping relocate a Mama raccoon and her babies from under our deck and then enclosed it so wildlife won’t be tempted to take up residence again. It took a bit to get scheduling coordinated but once they were onsite, they did an outstanding job!

Good Service an always text before he shows up an when he's done. Thank Scott

Steve L. via facebook

He would not spray under bushes so I fired them. ?The primary reason I called them in the first place was for mice. ?The primary problem was mice. ?He put out mouse traps. ?I noticed every 3 months he would spend about 10 minutes spraying around the house. ?The only bug problem I have is ants around the kitchen. ?He's a little guy, he had a little job to do, and he did it well but just did not get under the bushes. ?I cancelled service in April 2014.

Understanding Pest Control Options in Kent, WA

Homeowners in Kent, Washington, looking to protect their homes from unwanted pests will find that pest control services can provide peace of mind and effective solutions. Costs for these services can vary widely but are influenced by several key factors, including the size of the residence, level of infestation, types of pests, and the specific service plan chosen. Generally, residents can expect to pay an initial fee ranging from $175 to $350, with monthly maintenance costs between $40 and $100. These service plans often include follow-ups every 60 days to ensure a consistent defense against pests.

Pests: The Wanted and the Unwanted

Pest control services in Kent, WA, typically offer protection against a variety of common household pests. These can include ants, cockroaches, spiders, and rodents such as mice and rats. However, some pests such as termites, bed bugs, and certain wildlife may not be covered under standard plans. Residents should verify the list of covered pests with their chosen provider, especially if they are dealing with less common or more challenging infestations.

The Fine Print: Contracts and Commitments

Many pest control companies require service agreements that outline the terms of service, frequency of treatments, and payment schedules. Generally, contracts last for a year, although some providers offer the option to cancel at any time without penalty. It's important for homeowners to understand their commitment and the flexibility offered by their chosen pest control provider.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: The Promise of Effective Treatment

A key benefit of professional pest control services is the guarantee of satisfaction. If pests return between scheduled treatments, companies will often offer additional services at no extra cost to the homeowner. This guarantee ensures that residents can trust in the effectiveness of their pest protection plan.

Behind the Scenes: Treatment Processes

During a pest control treatment, professionals will assess the infestation, treat affected areas, and recommend preventative measures. The treatment can include sealing gaps, applying pesticides, and setting up monitoring devices. Homeowners can expect technicians to focus on both the interior and exterior of their properties to create a comprehensive barrier against pests.

Enhancing Protection: Bundling and Add-On Services

For additional peace of mind, many pest control plans offer the option to bundle services or add on specific treatments, such as mosquito control or termite inspections. These add-ons can lead to cost savings and ensure a broader range of protection against a variety of pests.

Specialized Intruders: Dealing with Tough Pests

Certain pests, like termites and bed bugs, demand specialized treatment plans due to their resilience and the potential damage they can cause. While general pest control plans might not cover these pests, most companies offer targeted services to handle these tough-to-tackle intruders.

Choosing Service Frequency: One-Time Versus Recurring

While one-time treatments are available for immediate pest issues, recurring service plans are popular for ongoing prevention and control. Recurring services often include regular inspections and treatments to maintain a pest-free home throughout the year.
