Pest Invaders in Peoria

Residents of Peoria, Illinois may encounter a range of common pests that can be bothersome and disruptive to their daily lives. One such pest that often plagues this region is the mosquito. With its humid summers and proximity to water sources like the Illinois River, Peoria becomes an ideal breeding ground for these bloodsucking insects. Their itchy bites not only cause discomfort but also pose health risks due to potential transmission of diseases such as West Nile virus.

In addition to mosquitoes, residents may also face problems with ants. These tiny creatures are known for infiltrating homes in search of food and water. Whether it's the pesky little black ants or the larger, carpenter ants that can cause structural damage, both can be a nuisance to homeowners in Peoria. Moreover, other common pests like spiders, rodents, and bed bugs can make their unwelcome presence felt, causing anxiety and posing risks to both property and health.

To address these pest issues, residents of Peoria should consider professional pest control services. These experts possess the knowledge and tools to effectively identify, eliminate, and prevent pest infestations. Taking proactive measures against pests can help ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and their families.

I needed to change pest control companies and decided to go with Orkin after reading their reviews. I called on a Wednesday, Brian came the next day to do a free consultation. He saw mouse droppings. No one has ever checked the attic, Brian did! Thank goodness. There were bats in the attic. After doing a thorough inspection inside and outside, he presented me with options. I wanted a mouse guard under the siding (didn't even know there was such a thing) and of course I wanted everything bats gone! Brian has checked in via text and phone. Saturday, Nick came to install the mouse guard, address any points of entry in the roof, install vent protectors and installed a bat cone. Tuesday, Austin came to treat for bugs and spiders. He will return and treat every other month. Thursday and Friday Aaron and Carter came to get rid of the old insulation in the attic, sanitize the attic and then put in new spray insulation. Aaron worked countless hours in the attic, I am so appreciative. Friday Nick returned to install new gutter guards at my request. The old, ineffective gutter guards were pushing up and under shingles on my new roof. (The roofer said it wasn't a problem, well I knew better). I have never worked with a more professional group of young men. I like the fact that they all seem to be specialized in their areas. I received emails letting me know the day they would be coming. I received an email stating they were on their way and finally an email saying, "We're here". Who does that? Orkin does! I am so glad I contacted this company. It is obvious the Orkin representatives have had intensive training. As for Brian, Nick, Austin, Aaron and Carter, Orkin should be so proud of these fine young men who represent their company.
